Well, there are two much simpler ways:
- edit "/usr/include/openssl/opensslconf.h", and make sure 
OPENSSL_NO_KRB5 is defined
#ifndef OPENSSL_NO_KRB5
# define OPENSSL_NO_KRB5
#endif
- install krb5-devel.
