Hi,

Sorry to answer so late but I have in holidays.

The mysql includes should be in a "mysql" directory, eg. "mysql/mysql.h"

Hi,

Is there a compatibility problem between newpki-server-2.0.0-beta4 and
mysql 4.0.21? (I saw a reference to one in
http://www.newpki.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=MHonARC&file=index&msgid=msg00285&listname=users.)

Although the mysql includes and libs are in their right places, while
trying to configure I get: ...
checking mysql/mysql.h usability... no
checking mysql/mysql.h presence... no
checking for mysql/mysql.h... no
configure: error: could not find the mysql.h include

./configure --with-openssl-include=/usr/local/ssl/include
 --with-openssl-lib=/usr/local/ssl/lib
 --with-mysql-include=/usr/local/mysql/include
 --with-mysql-lib=/usr/local/mysql/lib

Before newpki-server I installed newpki-lib-2.0.0-beta4 w/o issue.

System:
  Redhat 9 - kernel 2.4.20-8 i686
  OpenSSL 0.9.7e
  mysql 4.0.21

Thanks,
Bruce
