YES !
It works!
Thaks GOD, or instead thanks you ;)

mmm when you say :

Then you can change it in your server conf.
you talk about the mail part of the pki entity ?
i've tried to remove smtp adress and smtp port but i've a new port which appear
"1343820".

and it seems that the others entities continue to try to acces my old smtp
server because if i remove the false link in /etc/hosts the error appears again.

You cannot access the conf. it's crypted and signed.

It's why you're Appli is too, too great ! thanks for this :)

It doesn' matter, juste put anything you want for its ip, eg. "127.0.0.1 smtp.yourdomain.com"
Then you can change it in your server conf.

Yes ok,
but,
my server is no longer existing, so i've nothing to put in /etc/hosts
because i've not any smtp server to deal with...

and it seems I can't disable this function...
I'm in the mysql base,,, i you see where i can change this ?

I have noticed this problem a couple of weeks ago.
This issue only occures when newpki cannot resolve the name the smtp
server.
You can cheat it, by adding your smtp host in /etc/hosts.

Hi all,
just a little thing (which can be a Hard problem), I've moved my server
to be in a dmz without access to the smtp I've configured when created
my PKI, and when i tried to connect to my pki entity... impossible,
unknown,
i logged into the main server admin and all entities was disabled !!!
looking to the logs,
"Error sent by PKI server: #3032
There is a problem with the socket layer
[SmtpClient.cpp:71]"

Ok, so if your smtp server is no longer accessible, your pki wouldn't
work anymore, and like you can't disable this option without logging
into the pki main entity (which would not start because of smtp client
error), hope you always have a way to link your pki server and your smtp
server !!!

After plugged the server on the old lan with smtp server, and restarted
newpkiserver, all was back and activated (ouf...).

I tried to remove the smtp server adress but only the main pki entity is
active.
(I haven't do the "wait 5 minutes to propagate" before disabling acces
to my smtp server)

I'm intalling phpmyadmin to try to edit the database to find out why It
wouldn't work.

I think that this function would not be a critical function, or it would
be an configuration option possibility...
