PARLIAMENTARY COMMITTEE FOR POLITICAL SYSTEM
NEW VERSION OF PROPOSALS ON BELGRADE AGREEMENT FORMULATED

Podgorica -The Committee for political system of Montenegrin Parliament
has formulated a new version of proposals on the Belgrade Agreement.

The new version leaves out a paragraph on Montenegrin Parliament's
guarantee of citizens` right to vote on the state status in March 2005.
A proposal regarding state of emergency and state of war has also been
corrected.

Legislators of the ruling Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) voted in
favour of the new version. Miodrag Ilickovic, a representative of the
Social Democratic Party (SDP) was against it, whereas representatives of
the opposition Social People's Party had left the session before the
vote, dissatisfied by the new text of proposals which did not
incorporate all the positions on which their party insisted.

MONTENEGRIN PARLIAMENT:
DISCUSSION ON CESSATION OF GOVERNMENT'S MANDATE

Podgorica - Montenegrin Parliament should state today its decision
regarding mandate cessation of the Republic Government. The session was
supposed to be held two days ago, but was delayed due to "a legal
ambiguity concerning Prime Minister Filip Vujanovic`s resignation".

Montenegrin Whips asked Prime Minister Vujanovic to declare his position
on "whether he is resigning or intends to propose a vote of confidence
to his cabinet".

On April 19 Vujanovic returned his mandate to Montenegrin President Milo
Djukanovic, after the refusal of Social Democratic Party (SDP) and
Liberal Alliance (LS) to withhold their support to the Government.
