PRESIDENT MILO DJUKANOVIC:
THE ONLY SOLUTION - ELECTIONS ON ALL LEVELS IN AUTUMN

Podgorica - President of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic talked yesterday
with the participants of the counseling of Yugoslav economists. On the
occasion, he said that the crisis in Montenegro was very deep and that
the only solution to the situation was organizing elections on all
levels. He also said that the elections might be expected as early as in
Autumn.

Djukanovic warned that there were tendencies in some domestic
structures, but also in Brussels, towards subsequent interpretations and
remodeling of the basic principles for redefining relations between
Serbia and Montenegro. He firmly stated that any remodeling of the
Belgrade Agreement would mean its violation.

PROPOSAL OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL CHARTER BY JULY 4

Podgorica - The Commission for drafting the Constitutional Charter at
the yesterday's meeting in Podgorica nominated the sub-commission, which
is supposed to prepare the proposal of the Constitutional Charter.

Serbian and Montenegrin Parliament each have three representatives
respectively.

EXTRAORDINARY ELECTIONS ARE THE EVENTUALITY

Podgorica - The Spokesman of the ruling Democratic Party of Socialists
(DPS), Igor Luksic, said after last night's meeting of the Presidency of
the Party that extraordinary parliamentary elections were very probable
in trying to solve the political crisis in Montenegro.

He said that primer-designate Filip Vujanovic informed the party
presidency that he would present the results of the first round of
consultations to President Djukanovic, in order to discuss the second
round of consultations with coalition "Together for Yugoslavia".

Vice-presidents of the Socialists People's Party (SNP) and the People's
Party (NS), Zoran Zizic and Predrag Popovic, said that coalition
"Together for Yugoslavia" would probably accept the invitation of
Premier-Designate Vujanovic for the second round of consultations about
forming Montenegro's Government. President of the Liberal Alliance (LS)
Miroslav Vickovic said, however, that the announcement of the second
round of consultations was a "theatre of the absurd".
