THE MONTENEGRIN PARLIAMENT:
THE CONSTITUTIONAL CHARTER AND THE LAW ON ITS IMPLEMENTATION ADOPTED
Podgorica - The Montenegrin Parliament last night adopted the
Constitutional charter of the state union of Serbia and Montenegro as
well as the Law on its implementation.
Forty-five representatives of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS),
the Socialist People's Party (SNP), the Serb People's Party (SNS), the
People's Party (NS) and the People's Unity voted for the Constitutional
charter.
The representatives of the Socialist Democratic Party (SDP) and of the
Albanian national parties voted against it.
Forty-four representatives of the DPS, SNP and People's Unity voted for
the Law on the implementation of the Charter, while 18 representatives
(SDP, SNS, NS and the representatives of the Albanian parties) voted
against it.
The representatives of the Liberal Alliance (LSCG) did not participate
in the parliamentary session.
MEETING OF DJUKANOVIC AND MONTGOMERY
USA WILL SUPPORT THE MONTENEGRIN REFORMS
Podgorica -The USA will continue to give concrete help to the
Montenegrin reforms - said US Ambassador to Belgrade William Montgomery,
during his meeting with Montenegro's Premier Milo Djukanovic.
Washington will offer versatile assistance to Montenegro in the
protection of borders, after the Montenegrin police take over that duty
from the Yugoslav Army - Montgomery said.
Djukanovic thanked Montgomery for the continuing assistance of the USA
to Montenegro, and expressed his support to America's fight against all
aspects of terrorism in the world.
Montgomery also met with Montenegro's Minister of Internal Affairs Milan
Filipovic.

PRINCIPLES
Podgorica - The state union of Serbia and Montenegro has been made by
the European principles - stated to Podgorica vice president of
Montenegro's ruling Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Svetozar
Marovic.
Marovic underlined that the state union of Serbia and Montenegro would
exist until its citizens decide otherwise.

MEETING WITH DJUKANOVIC AND VUJANOVIC
Podgorica - Head of the Working group for the West Balkans close to the
European Union (EU) Stefan Lehne is visiting Podgorica today.
Lehne is expected to talk with Montenegro's Premier Milo Djukanovic,
Speaker of Montenegro's Parliament Filip Vujanovic and with the Minister
of Economic Relations with Foreign Countries and the European
Integration, Slavica Milacic.

SKUPSTINA CRNE GORE:
USVOJENA USTAVNA POVELJA I ZAKON O NJENOM SPROVODJENJU
Podgorica-Skupstina Crne Gore usvojila je sinoc Ustavnu povelju drzavne
zajednice Srbije i Crne Gore i Zakon o njenom sprovodjenju.
Za Ustavnu povelju glasala su 54 poslanika Demokratske partije
socijalista(DPS),Socijalisticke narodne partije(SNP),Srpske narodne
stranke(SNS),Narodne stranke(NS) i Narodne sloge.
Protiv su bili poslanici Socijaldemokratske partije(SDP) i albanskih
nacionalnih stranaka.
Za Zakon o sprovodjenju Ustavne povelje glasala su 44.poslanika DPS,SNP
i Narodne sloge,a 18.ih je bilo protiv(SDP,SNS,NS i poslanici albanskih
stranaka).
Skupstinskom zasjedanju nijesu prisustvovali poslanici Liberanog
saveza(LS).
SUSRET DJUKANOVICA I MONTGOMERIJA
AMERIKA CE PODRZATI CRNOGORSKE REFORME
Podgorica-Amerika ce nastaviti da pruza konkretnu pomoc crnogorskim
reformama-rekao je americki ambasador u Beogradu Vilijam Montgomeri,
prilikom jucerasnjeg susreta sa crnogorskim premijerom Milom
Djukanovicem.
Vasington ce pruziti i svestranu pomoc Crnoj Gori u zastiti
granica,nakon sto crnogorska policija preuzme tu obavezu od Vojske
Jugoslavije-rekao je Montgomeri.
Djukanovic se zahvalio na kontinuiranoj pomoci Amerike Crnoj Gori i dao
podrsku americkoj borbi protiv svih vidova terorizma u svijetu.
Montgomeri se juce u Podgorici susreo i sa crnogorskim ministrom
unutrasnih poslova Milanom Filipovicem.

Podgorica-Drzana zajednica Srbije i Crne Gore napravljena je po
evropskim principima-izjavio je za podgoricku Pobjedu potpredsjednik
crnogorske vladajuce Demokratske partije socijalista(DPS) Svetozar
Marovic.
Marovic je naglasio da ce drzavna zajednica Srbije i Crne Gore postojati
sve dok njeni gradjani ne odluce drugacije.
