• Post-Haradinaj period (Java)

Weekly Java writes that no matter how the modern Kosovar dilemma is interpreted, being in the American way or that of the creators of the LDK-AAK coalition, in none of those interpretations should the fate of 2 million people be linked to the fate of one person. Java also says that the most courageous political move since the NATO air strikes was the decision of Ramush Haradinaj to end the animosity between Kosovo political parties and form a coalition between peaceful parties and war parties. The idea of architects of this government coalition to overcome the hostility in the political life of Kosovo would be almost perfect if it wasnt for the shadow from The Hague tri bunal to lurk over Haradinaj. But is it possible to imagine a post-Haradinaj period, asks Java? How would that look like? Would it be a period of justice and peace or a time for riots and destruction? If a post-Haradinaj period is impossible to be imaged through peaceful categories, who will take the responsibility for the destruction of everything built so far in Kosovo, the paper asks. The lesser the possibilities for interpretations and re-interpretations, the more responsible and credible the decisions and coalitions would be, concludes Java.
