’Radovan Karadzic kept on the coded discs footage of talks with foreign statesman Bill Clinton, Tony Blair, Madeleine Albright, Bernard Kouchner and Slobodan Milosevic, to mention just a few. There is a lot of compromising material referring to the west governments’, lawyer Svetozar Vujacic, member of Karadzic’s defense team says for ‘Blic’. There is also recorded material on Karadzic’s conversation with Milosevic in which they speak in details about agreement with Richard Holbrooke. They are talking about Karadzic’s retiring from all posts in exchange for not being persecuted. ‘The discs also contain talks about how Alija Izetbegovic agreed the crime at Markale and about involvement of some governments in the crimes in Srebrenica and Bratunac’, lawyer Vujacic says. He, together with Karadzic’s brother Luka, yesterday took Karadzic’s bag only, without the laptop and the discs. ‘Tomorrow we shall come with an expert to check if the equipment is in order, if all data have been kept and if no viruses have been introduced. My colleague Goran Petronijevic shall bring the codes that Karadzic gave him in The Hague’, Vujacic said. He and Karadzic’s brother repeated that Radovan Karadzic had been abducted three days before the official announcement about his arrest on July 21.
