The search began several months ago as kids across the nation participated in an online spelling challenge, resulting in 400 qualifiers for local spelldowns in 33 communities. The 400 were narrowed down to the top 48 spellers across 12 regions of Canada. These 48 are now competing in Regional Spelldowns in hopes of representing their region at the final spelldowns in Wolfville, NS! Toronto will play host to one of three regional spelldowns on Thursday August 28, 2008 at the Capital Events Theatre 2492 Yonge Street from 2:00PM-5:00PM. Please read the following information carefully and keep for your records. • Guest Information: Must be 5 years of age and over to attend the show. o Show Date: Thursday August 28, 2008 o Check-In Time: 1:00- 1:30PM o Ticket Holder's Name: Snezana Boskovic o Number of Tickets required: 20 (Because of the size of your group we recommend arriving 15 minutes before the allotted time in order to get your group in order prior to sign in.
