Del Ponte claims that some 300 prisoners, mostly Serbs, were taken to Albania in 1999 and closed there by KLA members, and then the youngest and strongest ones were transferred to the village of Riba, near Burrel, reminds the paper. Del Ponte is quoting eight witnesses who had talked, independently of each other, about a yellow house, in where an Albanian doctor from Peje, in Kosmet, was taking out the organs of 50 prisoners. In the meantime, all the witnesses seem to have vanished, a former investigator told the SPIEGEL.
