The DSS leader and former premier was commenting on the ongoing efforts to have Kosovo Albanian leaders accept an agreement on the deployment of EULEX and reconfiguration of UNMIK. This will happen, Koštunica continued, because the legalization of EULEX cancels the existing UN mission, one which respects territorial integrity of Serbia. “In this way, in the province, instead of the UN mission which is completely status-determined, since it respects Serbia’s territorial integrity, the EULEX mission will be legalized – which is status-neutral, since it does not respect Serbia’s territorial integrity.” “Thus, Serbia is dragged into the process of recognizing the independence and becomes an accomplice in the creation of this fake state.
