Karadžic wants documents on arms deals

VIENNA -- Hague accused Radovan Karadžic has requested documents on illegal
shipments of arms to the Bosnian Muslim army during the war, says an
Austrian MoI official.
Harald Stranzl told the APA news agency that Karadžic’s lawyers had sent the
request to Vienna through the Austrian embassy in The Hague.
He is asking for a report on the search of the office of an agency for
humanitarian aid to Third World countries, situated in Vienna, which
confirms the shipment of these weapons.
Stranzl would not be drawn on his own view of the allegations of illegal
weapon shipment by UN officials during the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The ministry stated that it was currently working on an answer to Karadžic’s
request.
