An AA Eagle flight took off. Right after takeoff the inflight sound system broke. The cabin crew trying to get word to the cockpit crew, pounded on the cockpit door. Pilots, unable to talk to them assumed something bad and immediately turned back, where the problem was unmasked and everyone could relax.
At least that's the way i understood it.
