United to add Chicago routes as industry turf war heats up
United Airlines Holdings Inc. is adding new routes and increasing flying from Chicago, escalating competition with American Airlines Group Inc. at one of the world's busiest airports. The carrier will operate as many as 750 daily departures from Chicago O'Hare International Airport this summer, the largest schedule ever flown by any airline at the airport, United said on Tuesday.
