At an AA ticket counter a college student bought a ticket routed A-B-C. The system knew the A -C fare was less than the A-B fare. Some sort of filter determined determined that the person actually lived in city A and had a record of deplaning there. Thus they were questioned. I don't know what happened but the person could face some onerous actions
