Hi, friends!

*Wednesday. 6pm until 10 pm. CRAFT NIGHT*.
I hope you can come to craft night tomorrow at Tito's warehouse at 858-C
DeKalb Ave (next to IFO Signs and the Neon Company.. 50 ft west of Delta Pl
at DeKalb Ave, between Krog and the Inman Park/Reynoldstown Marta Station).
We're going to be making cash register donation containers, screen printing
shirts, drawing holiday cards, and probably sharing some food and drinks.
If you can, please bring containers that we can decorate (like mason jars
with lids, piggybanks we can dress up like sheep, empty coffee or oatmeal
containers).

We're asking businesses we like to encourage customers to donate their gift
certificate leftovers to us. Criminal Records raised $100 for us this way
just because they felt like doing it (Thanks Criminal
Records<http://www.criminal.com>!!).
If your place of business would be interested in helping us out by putting a
supercute donation container on the counter, please let
me<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>know!

*Saturday. Noon. GREAT BICYCLE RACK HUNT.*
Here is a fabulous event brought to us by our friends at the Atlanta Bicycle
Campaign. The awesome folks at Cycle
Peach<http://atlgirlsonbikes.blogspot.com/>are assembling all lady
teams, so go sign up over there if you're
interested.

Want to do something to make biking better in Atlanta?
Help the Atlanta Bicycle Campaign hunt down bike racks.
On Saturday, November 17th, teams will assemble at the Five Points MARTA
station to get maps and instructions. Teams of two will get a detailed map
of the area to be covered and a chart to list the location and type of bike
racks they find.

An after-party at Slice Pizza (Fairlie-Poplar) will follow, with prizes for
the team that finds the most bike racks and the team that covers their
section of the city first.

How can I help?

Show up with a friend!

Location: Upper Plaza, Five Points MARTA station downtown
Date: Saturday, November 17th
Time: 12 noon for maps and instructions

Volunteer Afterparty: 4 pm - until?
Slice
Pizza<http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001KMOA7BD_dn4caEI1J9mlaO2tt952gj85MqUEl6_cvrc8_A7LWIC4jBNwXYshX7IXFt0un1-JpEVksgfOzi50HzPbyRTDHeZlnbscQq3iVFy_GUgbfFgV0LaiPYmsyHoAYdEobgd8vMs=>,
85 Poplar Street, Fairlie-Poplar district

What good will this do?

City planners need to know where the bike racks already are and what shape
they're in order to plan for better bike parking. The bike rack hunt will
help guide the Atlanta's new comprehensive transportation plan.

Locations will also be added to the A-Train Trip
Planner<http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001hj2LEZqPaNurMel34WqJdEuXwWWtqTECETMTrHtVPPxjcJ6Vys3E96Gdy0Xek7ilCCRWMJpQtyJs8J_KZdTQFEF8-6hFual_9_8R_YU4k31v12QUpPg5MQ==>so
cyclists can find out whether a bike
rack awaits them at the end of their trip.

Where do I sign up?

Sign up for this volunteer-led effort by emailing [EMAIL PROTECTED] or
calling (404) 881-1112.

Love, Peace, and Bicycle Grease,
Rachael
