Wow! We did it! Lesley Sifford contacted Taskforce and Sopo to tell us that:
"Whole Foods Market is honoring its commitment by donating $3,500 to the Earn-a-Bike program, and honoring the commitment to our team members, who feel very strongly about continuing with a donation." Thanks to everyone who pitched in. You made a huge difference yesterday and today...in the lives of some homeless people, and for each other. It's a fact: the Sopo community comes together to do the right thing! Alright...let's get back to fixing bikes now. : ) Your pal, Rachael -- Sopo Bicycle Cooperative 404-425-9989 www.sopobikes.org * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Hours of operation: Tues, Wed, & Thurs 7 pm - 10 pm Sat & Sun 2 pm - 6 pm
