Hi, everyone! We're proud to announce that our Paideia intern, John St. Louis, in partnership with Americorps, created Shift, a bike shop and earn-a-bike program at Taskforce for the Homeless. Shift is open on Monday evenings for shelter residents to use so they can keep their bikes in good repair and learn bike maintenance skills.
Shift needs volunteers! Shift is seeking folks who feel confident in their bike maintenance skills and who are comfortable volunteering at a homeless shelter. Volunteers must commit to at least one time block: 4 - 5:30 or 5:30 - 7. If you would like to help or if you need more information, please direct all inquiries to [email protected]. Thanks, everyone!
