Hey everybody! Sunday, October 17 is Atlanta Streets Alive!! Atlanta Streets Alive was inspired by the ciclovia in Bogotá, Colombia<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ciclov%C3%ADa>, where city streets are closed to car traffic to allow people to participate in all kinds of free health and community-oriented events. Thirty years after the first program, the concept has spread around the world from Tokyo, Japan to Kiev, Ukraine. Now we are bringing it to Atlanta!
This is free, fun, and an awesome way to get out and play in our *finally*fall weather!!! Sopo is going to be working with a bike rodeo and setting up a mini-Sopo at the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition <http://www.atlantabike.org/> headquarters. (213 Mitchell St. Atlanta, GA 30303) during Atl. Streets Alive and we're looking for help!! This means* you! Yes, you!* Come help out at our on-site Sopo with minor adjustments and tune-ups. Let's help our friends learn while they're out to play!
