Users of News Clipper 1.18 and above can now use the "lastupdated" handler. It will output the time that the data for a particular handler was updated. Many thanks to Vadim Strizhevsky for the idea. His initial implementation (pre 1.18) relied on a number of unreliable features. These features were formalized after version 1.18, allowing this handler to perform predictably.
