would like to invite you to attend
the presentation so you can receive some
information on the MBA at TASMAC London
– School of Business. If you have about an hour to
spare, it would be my
pleasure to meet you at one of the time slots and
cities above. Kindly carry
your documents mentioned below for the
meeting. Given
below is some quick
information on TASMAC London – School of
Business: The
MBA or BA(Hons) in Business
Administration
at the school, have 3 intakes a year – February,
June and October. We are
currently accepting applications for the June 2009
intake which begins on 8th
June, 2009.
Fees
for our 16 month MBA programme are £ 6950. We have
a Nationality Scholarship of
£1000 for the June 2009 intake only. Students from
countries in Asia and the
Middle East are automatically eligible for the
Nationality Scholarship so long
as they are accepted into our programme. This
scholarship enables our fees to come down from £
6950 to £ 5950, for the MBA for
the June 2009 intake. If students pay all fees at
once before the course begins
they receive a 5% fee reduction to bring the fees
further down to £ 5650. We
generally advise students to pay the entire fee
before applying for their visa
as this considerably increases chances of them
getting a visa to the UK AND
helps them save 5% due to the fee reduction (due
to full fees being paid).
Students who
would like to pay for their MBA
fees in installments, can pay as
follows: -
Deposit (after receiving
acceptance
letter and before visa) £
3000 -
1st installment
at the
time of registration, upon
arrival £
1475 (for the June 09
intake) / £ 1975 (for Oct 09
intake) -
2nd installment
within 8
weeks of the start of the first sem £ 1475
(for the June 09 intake) / £ 1975
(for Oct 09
intake) Total
£ 5950 (for the June 09
intake) £ 6950 (for Oct 09
intake) More

our programme, can do the
following: 1.
Fill
in and submit our free
online application form on our website
page http://www.tasmac.org.uk/application-form.php
.
2.
Scan and email to
us, on the email id

a copy of the following certificates
- Bachelors degree transcripts and certificate,
secondary education and post
secondary education certificates.
3.
If you have an
IELTS/ TOEFL score please scan and email a copy of
the score sheet to us. If you
have done your Bachelors degree from an English

requirement for our MBA. This would
need to be discussed on a case by case basis.
4.
If you have work

experience letters received
from your employers. The first 3 above
are more important to make the admission decision
and the work experience /

above can be scanned and
emailed to [email protected]
once
the online application form has been
submitted. If you are not able
to attend the Spot Admissions sessions above but
may want to still apply online , please follow the
procedure above. (Ideally, it would
be great if we could meet while
I am in your city as above, as that would help me
clarify any questions/ doubts
you may have in person with you.) If the
application form and documents
submitted are complete and you are eligible, we
will send your acceptance letter
within 48 hours of receiving the application and
documents. This letter will be
sent to you first by email (scanned) and also
simultaneously in hard copy to
your address. Given below is a
brief synopsis on our school, just to draw
attention to a few
points: -
Although there are
many options for students to pursue an MBA/
BA(Hons)
in Business in the UK and elsewhere, we believe
that we offer a good option to
students in the form of - a high quality programme, in
a caring and supportive environment, at an
affordable cost and in London, one of
the financial capitals of the world!
-
We are a centre in London,
of University of Wales which
is a state/ government
University established in 1893
by the Royal Charter. The current Chancellor of
the University of Wales is HRH
Prince Charles. University of Wales is the second
largest University in the UK
and is fully recognized all over the world. All
our staff, faculty and systems
are approved by the University of Wales and our
students receive the University
of Wales degree after they finish their MBA programme
with us. This degree is the same as what students
would receive after they did
their MBA at one of the University of Wales
campuses in Wales. A sample degree
certificate is in our prospectus and on our
website. This degree is globally
recognized and accredited, for higher study and
employment
purposes. -
The duration of our
MBA is 1 year taught programme followed by
dissertation (total approximately 16 months).
Specialisations are offered in
Marketing, Finance,
International Business, Information Management and
Human Resource
Management. -
We do not need a
GMAT score and prior work experience as compulsory
entry requirements for our
MBA. We prefer candidates with work
experience. -
Information on our
fees is given above as well as on our fee sheet
which is a part of our
prospectus and on our website link http://www.tasmac.org.uk/fees-terms-of-payment.html
. Living costs in London are approximately £ 9000.
This is a figure that the
British Council advises us to inform students and
it is an average cost which
covers accommodation, food, travel and
entertainment. Students studying in the
UK are allowed to work part time (off campus)
during their course for 20 hours a
week and earn between £ 5.5 and £ 7 per hour. This
can potentially help students
earn more than 50% of their living costs in London
while you they on the course.
-
Students have an
opportunity to work full time in the UK for 2
years after completing their
study. This can potentially help the student earn
back a lot of the investment
made into the programme. The
websites mentioned below give
information on this 2 year work experience scheme
in the UK:
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/workingintheuk/tier1/poststudy/ http://www.ukcosa.org.uk/student/working_after.php
http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply/infs/inf5students
We assist students
in finding part time during the course as well as
full time jobs after course
completion. I hope the above
information is of help to you and I look forward
to meeting you during my trip
to your city as mentioned
above! Best
regards, Prashant
