I wanted to start off today with a note of thanks… to all of you who call, write or text us. It’s you who make this show, and our rollout of text comments this week has been a big success. You can text your comments/questions + your name to HLNTV (45688). Start your message with the word PRIME and it will go right to our inbox.
Of course, we’re always taking your calls. A number of you have called in with a theory about why Ron Cummings married his girlfriend Misty… that they tied to knot so they wouldn’t have to testify against each other regarding Ron’s missing daughter Haleigh. We were able to address that on air with Mark Eiglarsh, one of our expert legal guests. He debunked that theory, in a nutshell saying that getting married wouldn’t have made a difference in this case when it comes to testifying. Today I want to hear from you on new allegations of abuse at the Cummings’ home. This is coming from the biological mom’s camp. Is it legit, or is she trying to provoke a custody fight? 1-877-TELL-HLN (835-5456) or head to cnn.com/primenews and send us an e-mail. In case you missed it… another story and another theory… we have received many comments and questions about who is the father of Caylee Anthony. Many have wondered if it’s her uncle Lee. I know that’s sick, but the rumor was out there. Thankfully, among the ever-growing pile of court documents that have been released, the FBI says Lee is NOT Caylee’s father, and confirmed it with DNA testing. You are not going to believe what you see with the mom of the octuplets, Nadya Suleman. She brought home 2 of her 8 newborns, and they were swarmed by neighbors and the paparazzi. I know it’s a high-interest story, but these are fragile, premature babies and the family could barely make it into the garage. Doesn’t anyone have any sense, beginning with Octomom?!? Call, text or e-mail on this or any story. Remember… you make the show go!
