I was recruited to assemble and publish a hobby-related monthly newsletter by
the president of that club. The problem I had was no-one in the internet group
that receives the product had the microsoft word program that created it. So
they open an attachment in anticipation of seeing something they built or an
article they wrote........... and they get gibberish; no pictures nor columns.
That's when I started searching on the net for a substitute and I struck gold
when I found the Open Office website. Not only could it open all formats of
input but could also export in about every common format including the free
adobe PDF format which it seems everyone has on their 'puter. And the Open
Office software is free to use without restrictions or delays, and It creates a
finished product that is equal to anything I've ever seen or worked with.
I would be happy to send You copies of the newsletters I've published so far
using OpenOffice if You would like, just email me back.
Thanks again SUN and OpenOffice for allowing the common user to have full
access to such a marvelous tool.

P.S. would it be acceptable to state in the newsletter something like
Created with OpenOffice.Org and a link to Your website as a public thank you?
