I've not found a way yet to synch Palm Desktop 4.0 with the Newton, aside from exporting all the information in Palm Desktop format, importing it in an old Claris Organizer file, and synching through Newton Connection Utilities. I tried changing the creator/file type of the user data produced by Palm Desktop 4.0, but I got a weird end of file error when I tried synching under NCU. NCU did recognize the file as a Claris Organizer file, though, so maybe there's hope. I'm holding out for someone to do a simple (ha!) program, carbonized, to synch Palm Desktop 4.0 with my Newt. Any takers? I'd pay more than shareware for this myself. I am currently living with a Palm unit while I'm waiting for my new used Newton to arrive. My old one died from sudden deceleration disease (I dropped it) and the Palm doesn't hold a candle to the Newt.
