Do you mean connecting the Newton to your network using AirPort? If so, yes,
you'll need a Lucent card. If your Newton is wired to your network, which
includes AirPort, then no, you don't need to do anything special. Unless you
make a direct connection from your computer to your Newton with a
"crossover" cable, you will need some sort of hub or switch to connect your
AirPort section of your network with your Newton.

If I didn't get it, please explain what's the topology of your network is.
