I am using an original Airport for mine, and I think Seth, who I was
helping, was using one, too. I don't know about 802.11b generic
access points. However, if money is a concern, try dealmac.com.
They had an original Airport, brand new, for $148 yesterday. I
suppose I could make a list of the devices that I've seen working,
but I don't have enough input to make a list other than my own and
Seth's experience. Maybe those who have gotten it to work can post
their equipment lists.

As to your keyboard issues, I can't say. I haven't used my keyboard
in some time. Good job converting your IT director. Only 95% to go!
