BTW, based on what you mention, you would have been much better with a 2100. They go for around $125 to $150 USD on eBay depending on the condition and the included accessories. With a Newton OS 2.1-based Newton, like the 2100, you have access to NewtonWorks, which includes QuickFigure Works that you can have for free.
