I don't have the link for the ATA driver development page but the way it 
works is this.  Newtons use Linear flash PC cards for storage, they are 
becoming expensive and rare.  ATA flash is the technology that compact 
flash and others are based on and is cheaper and support larger sizes 
[up to 2.5GB I think].  Last I saw development was in beta but that was 
months back.

I used a friend's MP120 for a couple months before buying a 2000 
upgrade.   The 2000U model is a great message pad and other than using a 
lot of batteries the new wireless drivers seem to work well, I am 
planning on buying an AirPort this week and very excited.
