Thanks for your reply. I've got budget constraints and am 'stuck' with the 
120.
Is there a market for these any more? Maybe I could sell it and buy the 2000 
or 2100.
Any idea what these are these going for second hand?

Before you try to learn it I'd buy a 2000 or a 2100 first. A 120 is 
really just a toy - too many limitations. The 2100 has the potential to 
really become a useful tool (I can actually be used under OS X!)
