That may be a bird.   I have no way of knowing.   But if you were in Austin 
Texas, I’d say that was a gecko.

BTW, if there are any gecko researchers out there, I have a lot of of night 
recordings for a possible paper.   I suggest the title to be, “The seasonal 
sound distribution of gecko calls in a city groundscape, Austin, Texas with 
notes on possible sound suppression by buzz-saw cicadas.”
