Last night, I recorded from about 9pm to 6am, plus I kept the earbuds in all
night to listen live, when awakened by louder flight calls.

I have only perused some of the night sounds recorded overnight.

There was a near constant movement of vocal birds throughout the night. There
was not an apparent classic thrush descent (recently occurring around 5:30am)
but Veery, Wood Thrush, some Swainson's Thrush, and grosbeak calls were
pervasive throughout the night. Warblers were also ever present throughout much
of the night. I think I also heard a couple of Bobolinks and some Savannah
Sparrows in my stupor.

Other highlights include:

Coyote pack calling a few times throughout the night
Eastern Screech-Owl
Black-crowned Night-Herons (2)
Green Herons
DICKCISSEL (nice classic call at 1:07am)
Plus some interesting unidentified sounds which I may post later today or
tomorrow.

Good night listening!

Sincerely,
Chris T-H
