Karl, Is there a need to go to NFSv2? If you look at the thread: http://www.opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=99554&tstart=15 You just need to set sec=sys in your automaps. I.e., the first entry in that thread mentions going to v2, but you don't have to be that radical. Thanks, Tom
