Being desperate about not being able to help solve this issue, I was also thinking about an alternative approach which would not involve modifying the lockmanager code, but which I don't find particularly elegant: We could introduce a tunable to override config->knc_proto = NC_UDP in clnt_tli_kcreate http://cvs.opensolaris.org/source/xref/onnv/onnv-gate/usr/src/uts/common/rpc/clnt_gen.c#75 if (knc_protofmly equal NC_INET* ) && (prog == PMAPPROG)).
