We have received IDR146115 from Oracle and installed on our spare x4540. The test script by Dave Brown shows very promising results. We can bring the locks up quite high, but it recovers on its own almost immediately.
We are making plans to install IDR on the live x4540 and feel confident it will solve our troubles.
