Hello all :-)

There was a discussion of a hexagonal Ganesha project sticker during
Devconf, and I realized the logo I got from Amye needed some work,
because it was a very wide shape, quite low resolution and not in vector
format. Thus I have a proposed new logo for Ganesha project... and a
sticker with it, later on, of course.

I also bumped into Kaleb in Brno and we discussed this. (Cc:ed, hello! :-)

Now, I sadly admit my great fondness of Indian cuisine don't help me
very much with Indian culture and particularly the symbology in
hinduism. Since the logo for Ganesha is an elephant which also happens
to be a Hindi deity, I am aware there might be some pitfalls in
designing an elephant based logo for the Ganesha project... For this
reason I also Cc:ed Vijay into this mail thread, hoping that he might be
able to give more feedback and maybe circulate this through some other
colleagues of indian heritage if necessary. I want to get the design
right, so it is not silly nor offending to anyone.

The attached logo is gray because I have not looked into the colors yet.
The trunk of the elephant is supposedly forming a "G" (and it looks a
bit like a muscular hand too, I guess)

Let me know what you think!
