How does WFQ get us closer to Async I/O?  I'm not seeing the connection, 
so could you elaborate on this?

I disagree with this.  Nothing as invasive as queuing changes should go 
into 2.5.  2.5 should get the dirent chunking and bug fixes only at this 
point.
