If you compare with the now up-to-date next branch in the same tree,
the changes should be fairly easy to review.

I'm planning on pushing that gerrithub review later in the week.

For compiling purposes, you'd need:

Review there is needed, too.

This is only the dispatch side changes, mostly consisting of a pair
of patches originally from 2015.

The enqueue-dequeue code also used by 9P and upcalls is left intact.
That should probably be the Next Big Thing,
