Your assumption is correct. Replacing the files is exactly what we would
like to do and we do not want to do it in real time either.
We can run our "AS field replacement" script for files that are a few hrs
old. I said we "can" but I should have said we "must" run this not on real
time because the program that figures out the AS number can not run that
fast.
The problem with the nfcapd files is that we do not know how to reconstruct
the file to a binary form, after dumping it and replacing AS 0 with the
proper value in it.
