Hi,

After getting NFSen up and running I want to set an alarm for traffic
exceeding a certain amount, but that alarm never fires.

To be specific: I've got two routers monitored with ~ 20MBit/sec traffic each.

I want to trigger an alarm that should fire once traffic exceeds
30MBit/sec.

Here's what I defined under "Alerts":

o) "Filter applied to 'live' profile": nothing changed here - both
routers are marked on the left

o) "Conditions based on individual Top 1 statistics":
Bits/s of Top Any IP Address > 2 M

o) "Action:"
Send alert - Email address entered

Here's what I got: Under "Alert Infos:" near the bottom of the screen
I see an chart that says "Flows/s" - but no data in it. Likewise the
table below that graph has "0" (zero) in every field.

I've also tried to set "Conditions" to "Conditions based on total flow
summary": (radio button) with a condition of "bits/s > Absolute value
2M" - same result - no alarm fired, nothing in the graph on the Alerts
page.

Please note that the Alert displays as "armed" and "enabled" (check mark)

Also note that normal netflow statistics are there - available under
the "Graph" oder "Details" tab.

Any idea what can be wrong here?

Thanks much in advance for any clue,
-ewald
