You need to concert each rrds using the rrdtool command:
On your 32 bit system:
"rrdtool dump yourfile.rrd yourfile.xml"
mv the XML file to your 64 bit system and run
"rrdyool restore yourfile.xml yourfile.rrd"
I did it by NFS exporting/mounting the relevant drive.
A small shell script helps to run over all the profiles.
