Hi All,
I've just noticed an issue with Expires on the default live profile: Running
nfsen 1.3.2 on Ubuntu Server 8.04 LTS, rsyslogd 1.19.12
We were running out of space, so from the web frontend I configured a max
space and a max size, expecting 'the expires magic' to fix everything.
Something like 5 or so minutes later nfsend crashes out and the frontend is
complaining about not being able to connect to the socket.
NB nfcapd is fine, keeps running.
Restarting nfsen doesn't work, rsyslogd has crashed out too.
Restart rsyslog, restart nfsen, and it comes back.
Only to crashout again, in 5 minutes or so.
Restart Everything, Go back into the UI before it crashes, remove the max
size and max time from the live profile.
Everything is good and stable once more.
Has anyone else seen similar behavior?
Is this "functions as engineered" and I'm misunderstanding something?
