The symptoms were: - - live profile did graph - - any other profile stopped working - - some profiles (I think all of them) had their status OK - Locked - - the profiles had their Size wrong. For example, in disk a profile was 5 GB and in the Stats Tab it showed less than 3 GB. - - The temporal files for each profile were stacking in the directory without going to the proper place. I mean this: Profile: PROFILE Directory: .../PROFILE/2010/03/05/ Temporal files (all empty) were all in .../PROFILE/temp.nfprofile.aNumber I don't remember exactly their name. (This files are marked and deleted as "orphans" when nfsen restarts, if you look at syslog) The profile directory for the day was empty (I mean this directory: .../PROFILE/2010/03/05/) I run nfsen -r in every profile, but it didn't fix it.
Dowloading the latest nfdump, nfdump-1.6.1, compiling it and restarting nfsen solved the problem for us.
