Hello,

Most likely, the timeout for nfsend is exceeded (nfsend has to update your
profiles/has to run plugins) and it may not shutdown instantly. When I get
in this problem, I usually do nfsen stop twice (doubles the timeout) and
then I do a nfsen start.

Peter, maybe the timeout interval should be increased to about 5 minutes (on
servers with a high load/lots of profiles/slow backend plugins) this should
make a difference. Maybe even it could be a user setting.
