Hello,
I am having a very unusual problem while trying to get Nfsen running. I am on
RHEL 6, using nfdump 1.6.5, rrdtool 1.4.7,
Perl 5.10.1, and PHP 5.3.3. Also find attached my current custom config, just
in case.
When I run the ‘install.pl’ script, then attempt to use the ‘nfsen start’
command to make everything go, I get the
following error:
Can't locate NfSenRC.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /opt/nfsen/libexec
/usr/local/lib64/perl5 /usr/local/share/perl5
/usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib64/perl5
/usr/share/perl5 .) at
/opt/nfsen/libexec/Nfsources.pm line 42.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /opt/nfsen/libexec/Nfsources.pm line 42.
Compilation failed in require at ./bin/nfsen line 58.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at ./bin/nfsen line 58.
Now, to verify that the NfSenRC.pm file actually was pulled across in the
downloaded archive, I verified that it was
indeed there. I unzipped the files again into the directory where I have them
saved, and verified that it was indeed
where it was supposed to be, along with the other nfsen*.pm files that live in
the libexec directory. I also recopied
the config file I had created (which was also mysteriously missing), and reran
the ‘install.pl’ script. I then tried to
run ‘nfsen start’ again, and got the same error.
I restored everything again, then just ran the ‘install.pl’ script. Rechecking
the directories revealed that,
apparently, the ‘install.pl’ script is deleting both my custom config file
(fortunately, I’m keeping a spare copy
elsewhere for safety), as well as the NfSenRC.pm file (for reasons I can’t
fathom). No other .pm files are deleted from
the libexec directory, only NfSenRC.pm.
Can anyone help me get this resolved? Thanks.
Sincerely,
Chris Mallow
