This is probably caused by empty or damaged profile.dat file in one of
your profiles in profiles-stat directory. This can happen if you are
making changes in profile during full disk. Have a look on different
profile.dat files and try to repair it, or re-create the problematic
profile.
Upgrade won't help in this case I guess.

Try to delete the /data/nfsen/var/run/nfsend.pid file (which is probably
empty).
