Im trying to get fprobe sensor running on a Centos bridge machine.

I have currently 2 interfaces bridged as follows:

bridge name bridge id STP enabled interfaces
br0 8000.90e2ba1ad938 no eth12
                                                               eth13

When I try to ge fbrobe running on any interface:

[root@mdz]# /sbin/fprobe -i eth13 -fip -n7 172.24.3.12:9995
bind(): Address family not supported by protocol

[root@mdz]# /sbin/fprobe -i br0 -fip -n7 172.24.3.12:9995
bind(): Address family not supported by protocol

What is weird is that I have the same setting in other machine and works
great.
Only difference I see is that libcap version is different.
working machine:
tcpdump version 4.1-PRE-CVS_2012_03_26
libpcap version 1.4.0

not working machine.
tcpdump version 4.1-PRE-CVS_2012_03_26
libpcap version 1.0.0

Any ideas ?
Regards.
Leandro.
