Thanks Lucas. Basic test showed it work on 1.17 with my old 1.14 config. But is there any official announcement that the nginx has backward compatibility from X version to Y version?

I would say, install a box with 1.17, copy your config, and do a config test to see if it works 😊 From: nginx <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> on behalf of "Zheng, Qi" <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Reply-To: "[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>" <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Date: Monday, 15 July 2019 at 10.46 To: "'[email protected]'" <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Subject: RE: Do nginx 1.14 and 1.17 have compatible configuration file formats? Hi, I am now using nginx 1.14. I am planning to upgrade it to the latest 1.17 version. My question is do nginx 1.14 and 1.17 have compatible configuration file formats? Can I use whatever I configured before for 1.14 on 1.17 version? Thanks. Best Regards SSP->LSE->Clear Linux Engineering (Shanghai)
