I think we are pretty close to an alpha release of NHSearch 2.0, which is aligned to Hibernate Search 3.0.1 GA.
I've fixed the issues that I knew were outstanding; collection updating, query loader test and sharding. I'd call it a beta, but the performance seems to be very poor and there are some "funnies" such as all the unit tests not playing nicely together, i.e. they run individually, but crash when run together so there's a leak somewhere but I'm not sure if it's in the code or just the test framework. I should have some time available over the next month or so, but I need people to give it a quick sanity check.
