I'm not aware of any encryption options that NH supports out of the box, but
you can implement your own user type (IUserTyp) that could use encryption.

Can someone shed some light on the how hibernate/ nhibernate can be
used for database level encryption to be employed. This is needed in
the context of PCI DSS compliance requirements (e.g,. credit card
numbers stored in the db have to be encrypted).
