I too regularly respond to the notices of 'wiki spam' and try to delete spam
content within a day or so of receiving the notices.  I'm uncertain that
there is any effective automated way to address this problem (but if there
is, I'd be willing to spend some time exploring it -- clearly the presence
of unattended SPAM left to foster does indeed create a 'credibility' issue
for the WIKI content when people visit the site).
